old entry is reaaaaally old
and since spring is over for more then a few month....well 8D

I thought I could update my journal :3

Con-season is over, and to tell the truth, it was time. Don't misunderstand me, I had great times at conventions, met so many wonderful people and of course my friends from far far away ;D I had a wonderful time with U ♥ But there were also some downs, demotivation, more demotivation and MORE DEMOTIVATION.

And it freaks me out, that my main-thought most of the time was "I promised XYZ to cosplay with him/her/them, I HAVE TO FINISH IT" and not "I'm so excited to wear the costume together with my dears". There were so many thoughts of simply quitting with the cosplay-stuff. I mean, my RL waits for me, weekends I want to spend with my friends here and not behind the sewing-machine.

But I can't blank out the good and funny times with my friends at conventions. Or the fun I have sewing TOGETHER with one of them.

I'll see what the winterbreak brings. May I'm full of motivation for next years con-season, may I'm not. I don't want to stop completely with cosplay, but may I step back a little.

For now, I'll enjoy the moths without conventions, without the need to finish costumes. Time for weekends together with my friends, for going out, playing games or reading books... or to sew something if I'm in the mood <3
